INTL FCStone and Coffee Network have released their report on coffee pests and diseases. This again highlights many of the dangers facing coffee growing, but this should hardly be a surprise.
Commercial coffee is genetically very weak and farming practices have sought maximum yield at the expense of coffee health. One such problem hitting coffee was that of rust which I wrote about earlier this year. (https://beansahoy.wordpress.com/2013/03/15/coffee-rust/)
